Influencia de la edad y del tamaño de la amputación en la regeneración de apéndices locomotores de Bacteria granulicoilis Blanchard (Phasmidae, Phasmida)

Resumen

Se presentan nuevas experiencias relacionadas con la regeneración de apéndices en Bacteria granulicollis Blanchard . En esta oportunidad el fenómeno de regeneración ha sido relacionado con la edad, el nivel y época del año en que se practica la amputación. Del análisis cuantitativo se concluye que, hay una relación directa entre el mayor nivel de amputación y la autotomía, y que a menor edad es mayor la posibilidad de regeneración. Se establece, además, épocas favorables y desfavorables en el ano en relación a las fechas de amputación o autotomía.

Abstract

New experiments about the regeneration of appendixes in Bacteria gramilicollis Blanchar dare presented. During these experiments the regeneration phenomenon has been studied in relation to age, level and time of year at which the amputation is practiced. From the quantitative analysis it may be concluded that there is a direct correspondence between the higher level of the amputation and autotomy, and that at a younger age there is a greater possibility of regeneration. Furthermore it was possible to establish more and less favorable times of year in relation to the date of amputation or autotomy.
