Nuevo hallazgo de Nardophyllum genistoides (Phil.) Gray (Asteraceae) en Los Andes centrales de Chile: avances en el conocimiento de su hábitat y especies asociadas.

Resumen

Se reporta un nuevo registro de Nardophyllum genistoides en Chile. El hábitat difiere considerablemente respecto al previamente publicado. Este hallazgo mejora el conocimiento del hábitat potencial de la especie, y permite enfocar futuros esfuerzos de búsqueda de esta especie tan poco colectada y actualmente considerada En Peligro.

Abstract

New record of Nardophyllum genistoides (Phil.) Gray (Asteraceae) in the central Andes of Chile: new insights on habitat and associated species A new record of Nardophyllum genistoides from Chile is reported. The habitat differs considerably from the one described in the most recent collection published. This finding gives new insights on the potential habitat of the species and could narrow down future research efforts to this poorly collected species, currently considered as Endangered.
