Resumen

Among the Araucanians, women and older girls are the weavers. ( ) Small children help with cardinsr, boys and younger girls with spinmng, and men with twirline. Things woven are traditional clothmg and articles for household use. Such articles ara blankets (pontros), used for protection against coid. a t nieh t; throws (lamas) used to cover stools and benches; saddlebags (kal-ke) fot carrving things on horseback; and saddle covers (choapinos) .(Cf.
